I’ve stayed in a few hostels around Sydney & the village Glebe is by far my favourite! Located on Glebe point road with a short walk to shops & cafes bars. Bus stop right outside aswell. This didn’t feel like a hostel but more of a home away from home! Lovely vibe in this hostel with activities going on every night. Gorgeous rooftop terrace with stunning view of sunsets and a games room pool table & table tennis. The staff here are honestly Amazing! Big shout out to Rose Felicia & Maria espically who were so welcoming and willing to facilitate anything you need. Always friendly saying hello and asking about our days! When I come back to Sydney will definitely stay here again! Would recommend to a friend.

It has a great rooftop for chilling with a large covered area that is surrounded by an open area with great 360 degree views. All the staff do their best to make everyone feel at home. Special shout out to Timur, who goes above and beyond, is welcoming, friendly and extremely courteous. The Village, Glebe create an atmosphere of inclusion of everyone from all Nations. Of special note are the hammocks on the rooftop, the complimentary pancakes on a Sunday morning which enables different travellers to meet, mingle and strike up friendships. A great place to stay!

The receptionist Nico Garzonio is an excellent professional. He has been always really proactive and fast in the check in and he helped me during my whole stay in Sydney. He recommended different places to visit in the city and solved all my different doubts and inquiries. Because of the great help of Nico and Dhiraj I decided to live in the hostel for more than a month. They made you feel as home, great people and great hosts. Also I want to remark the amazing housekeeping team, specially Daniel and the Colombian staff. Their work is not visible but It’s essential for well living in the hostel.
